I'm in paper heaven!

I've been doing some scrapbooking lately, after taking a few months off... Ahhh, its good to be back :)

These pics are from our family vacation over a year ago... the girls first time on a plane. The title is a play on the french phrase for 'I love you' :)

Its based on this weeks sketch from pencillines.com

I liked how this one turned out... I used my cricut to cut out the cool chandelier, owl and the title.

The chandelier is cut from Core'dination cardstock and distressed a whole bunch to make it look old and like its from a haunted house :) fun!

Just some more fun details- glitter, stamping and all that good stuff...
I'm hoping to spend the rest of the week, and maybe even the weekend lost in my little scrapbooking world!

"sucker"

I just got the coolest software for my cricut- I've been playing around with it for a few days now. I thought I'd show off what I made with it. Its called Make The Cut! and it basicly lets me cut out ANYTHING I want with my cricut- no more having to buy cartridges! Yayy!

I cut out the lower half of this page using Make The Cut!, and I layered patterned paper underneath the cut out circles...

I also cut out the "sucker" title, using the fonts from my computer- another cool feature I love about the program. I can cut almost any font on my computer, and I can download any free ones and use them too... the possibilities are endless :)

I LOVED this picture of Kasen, and wanted to scrapbook it as soon as I took it! I loved how it turned out :)

"pink party"

I finally started Brielles baby album, its this adorable little 9x9 album... I do an album for each of my girls- their first two baby years. I figure since Brielle is a year old now, its about time to start hers! Yes, I'm a year behind!

This is, of course, her first birthday party. I thought since it was a pink party it would be perfect for this weeks pink craft project for the color my world challenge.

I used lots of different pink papers, with some black and white mixed in. One of my favorites to use lately is the Co'ordinations cardstock. I love to emboss and then distress it- fun, fun!!

"Gramma Sue"

I've been working on this for a little while now, and finally got it finished this morning...

My Gramma Sue died on January 10th... She'd been wanting to go home for years. She got her answer to prayer on a Sunday evening, surrounded by her family. The last thing she saw before she passed away was her Lord... waiting for her with outstretched arms, to welcome her Home! We will miss her, but we know she's much, much happier where she is :)

sweetness

I've been in such a crafty mood lately... and for me that means scrapbooking,
mostly! I made this page using this weeks sketch from 52 sketches, 52 weeks.

She's our little bit of sweetness- we could just eat her up!!

The pics were taken by Sharla.

I give thanks...

I give thanks for the coffee stain on my counter...

it means my husband went to work this morning.

I give thanks for the soggy cereal in my sink....

it means my girls have food to eat.

I give thanks for the 4 loads of laundry I did yesterday....

it means we have clothing to wear, and water

and electricity to launder them.

I give thanks for the constant messes I have to clean up...

it means my girls are busy, healthy and happy-

and that we have a roof over our heads.

I give thanks- I give thanks to my Lord, my God...

He has blessed me with so much!

Give thanks to the LORD for He is good... His love endures forever. Psalm 118:1
